Hey, Alt from a 50cl can. Cool. It pours brown with copper hues and tall creamy tan head. The aroma hints at roasted malts, spicy hops and a touch of caramel. The taste is similar but I think the spicy hops are creating a metallic like note too. Behind the hops are soft notes of malts, roasted malts and some earthy hops.

Vrij zoet, karamel, iets metaligs, daarna bitter. Redelijke frisse doordrinker, maar veel smaakvoller dan pils.

From a 330 ml bottle. Light brown with a big slightly tanned head. smell of apple and a bit lemons. Tastes a little malty with a small amount of citrus which increases while drinking more and leaves a nice feeling in your mouth. small level of bitterness which fits nice to the rest. doens’t seem boring at all.

Der er tale om en mahognibrun øl, med en ganske flot skumkrone. Skummet ligger tæt, men er dog luftigt, som en lille, let hat på øllets top.

Duft: 5/10
Duften er straks ret maltet som en altbier bør være. Der er antydninger af brød, lidt sursød ubestemmelig malt og også en let hengemthed.

Smag: 5/10
Smagen er kraftigt mærket af den tidligere antydning af brød, og der er i den forbindelse også en anelse af tysk vitamalz uden sødme, og den ukrainsk-russiske bygdrik kvass. Der er en ubestemmelig frugtighed, en god portion syrlighed og anelse metallisk smag. Afslutningen er moderat bitter, men der intet exceptionelt over dette bryg som sådan

Mundfølelse: 3/5
Ganske middelmådig tyngde, men dog let blød følelse i munden. Kulsyreindholdet er godt tilpasset.

Poured from my mini-keg. Beautiful toffee/caramel color. Slight white head that is quick to hide itself and leaves the tiniest bit of lacing. Huge caramel aroma. Almost butterscotch, but not overwhelming. Malty. In aroma and taste. A little bit of a roasted character. Sweet and slightly bitter on the back end. Not bad. Could handle drinking this daily if I had to. But there is so much more to drink to waste time on an average sipper.

Diebels Altbier @ BierBar Alkopole Medium amber russet amber, crystal clear, minimal head. Aroma is simple sweet caramel. Flavor is caramel with a tea-like essence and light bitterness. Ends with a boxboard dryness. 

Bottle: Off white head on top of a darker orange amber brownish beer. Smell malts, dark fruits and herbs. Taste malts, caramel, herbs, yeast, medium bitter. Bitter malty aftertaste. Nothing special but not that bad.

Bottle, pours a copper, smell is grainy with a bit of some spice in there. it was a decent offering, nothing to special

On tap at Hotel Stadt Emmerich, Emmerich am Rhein. Pours dark brown with lively head. A good sweet dunkel with low carb, went down a treat after a warm evening watching De Graafschap in Holland. Very good.
