*Old rating, best before 12.2010.

Bottle. Discernable malty base topped with a generous amount of hops, pending between resiny and mossy. It is light sulfury as well. Balanced flavour, light sweet taste, soft mouthfeel, fullish for a German pils, with a medium bitter, hoppy finish. Nice beer.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy pale malty aroma. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, slightly strawy, bitter hoppy in the finish.

500 ml bottle, bought in Germany. Poured into a footed pilsner glass. ABV 4,9% Clear yellow golden colour, with something less than two fingers of foam, soapy and white. Good retention, not much of a lacing. Good activity in the glass. Malty aroma and some very little hops. Sweet malty taste, some stale bread and metallic on the finish. It is a bit "dirty" on the taste, meaning the malts are quite too obvious, but I guess after a couple of those you get used to it. Medium thin on the body, average carbonation. Fairly dry on the palate. Overall, not too bad and as I said after a while you get used to it, it could become my everyday beer if nothing else was available.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Disgusting, grainy and way too bitter stuff. Drank it a few years ago and yesterday again. Its still the same cheap pilsner.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear yellow-golden in colour with steady head and medium body. Taste of metall, copper, bitter hops and citrus fruits. Very bitter and undelicious.

Einfach Mittelmaß in Flaschen! Let it be. Test vom 2.11.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,6,6,6,7,5 - 5,95
