3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
My first Luxemburg beer and it was very good along with another, this beer was a very nice surprise. I thought beers from there were not as good as them but the shape was awesome.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
bottle, though the presentation from the bar was in a nifty ceramic mug with Diekirch Grand Cru on it - Pours amber, I assume as it’s hard to see in the opaque mug. There’s a thin off white head that lasts a long time. It has a mild malty aroma. The taste is sweet malt and should definitely be allowed to warm as dark fruit flavors of cherry and berries come out. It’s bubbly and medium bodied with a little dryness in the finish. Refreshing. I liked it anyway.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
An amber colored beer, with thick off-white head. The aroma is sweet, caramel malt and a little fruit. The taste is bittersweet, some hops and thin. The aftertaste is long bitter, after a while a kind of vanilla flavor.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Vianden Luxembourg. Pours dark brown with red hues. Thin tan head that fades quickly. Smells of wood, slightly piney, yeast. Taste is of sweet carmel, slightly sour, nice bitterness. Great mouthfeel creamy and rich with moderate carbonation. Finish is bitter and lingers. Nice suprise.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Kind of strange that they’d call this a Grand Cru. I was expecting something more Belgian in style and flavor. Pours reddish brown with a thin tan head. Smells of sweet caramel, roses, hints of fruit. Tastes sweet and fruity with some earthiness on the finish. Mouthfeel is flat with a finish that leaves some residual sugary hints.

At the kaktus in Echternach/petit suisse Luxemburg, brown/red, lasting cremé head, sweet like brown candy-caramel, some bitter, but most of all very nice one!

A good taste, as an amber beer.
Too much bitter for me.
A lack of bubbles.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from the local Auchan. Dark amber to chestnut with a thick off-white head that disappears quickly. Nose is hoppy and ever so slightly sour with a sweet malt touch. Mouth is quite straightforward, malty, sweet honey and some soury hops. Lasting sweetness. OK.
