Hum... Comment dire... C’est mauvais, vraiment mauvais... Préférez l’eau tiède.

Nothing surprising from Luxembourg. Simple pils with simple color, aroma, taste and palate. Four times simple! C@H

Bu en bouteille de 25cl, l’excellence Luxembourgeoise enfermée dans une canette, le néant, un arrière goût de merde sèche, un délice pour les clodos !

Bottle shared at Dean’s Winter Shelter Tasting. Pours clear golden with a big off white head. Aroma of grain, damp and light malt. Flavour is almost non existent. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Erzengel (1907) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 22, 2013
The beer starts malty, nice. No Sweetness. The hops are present, a bit in the background. The mainpart is nice refreshing, pils-typical. Probably a bit neutral. The aftertaste is medium, bitter pils-typical. Nice and refreshing. --> For a good pils there is a small lack of aroma, but the "ground taste" is good. --> 10/12/10/9

33cl Bottle, brought all the way over the Alps to Ste Maxime to be drank on my hotel room patio in the sun on 15 Sep 2013. Pale yellow/gold with no head or smell (gets my regular 3 for a non smelling lager/pilsner). Grainy, semi-sweet and generally OK. Softer than it’s German Pilsner mates, this isn’t a bad beer, just not as crisp or sharp as others in this style.

Thanks to erzengel for the bottle! Pours a clear yellow with a pretty long lasting white head. Smell is grass & grain. Taste is as it smells with some malt sweetness and a dry slightly hoppy finish. Light in body and average carbonation.

Vacation 2013 @ Virton, Belgium. 33 cl. can @ the bungalow, bought @ the Cactus supermarket in Redange, Luxembourg.

Golden with a white head. Grainy grassy aroma. Light bitter taste with lively carbonation.
