Pint at many pubs in Luxembourg. Very standard pilsener. Slightly sweet with some bitter hops. Mouth is slightly sweet, but very drying, and short, with a touch of metal. Not great, but quenching.

0.33 l bottle, thanks Doggythedog for sharing it! It poured pale yellow body with medium head that soon flattened. Unimpressive, weak aroma of some sourish hops with weak, half sweet malt. Flavor is quite fine, bit of honey with some herbal essences, nothing wrong here, but very bland, ordinary, boring... Finish is very short, following the flavor, nothing much to say here. A new beercountry for me, but with another boring pale lager.

0.33l bottle courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!), shared with heavy
Hmm... my second Luxembourgian beer. This one poured a slightly pale yellow colour with a small white head that went away at a medium pace. Very weak nose, some sourish hopiness I guess and metal. Utterly unimpressive but not offensive I guess. The taste was ok. A nice fruity (peachy) maltiness combined with a light herbal and lemony hoppy bitterness. Too light but balanced I guess. The peach/lemon interplay was nice, but it’s too damn weak. Bofferding was a nice surprise but this one proved to be true to the score.

Draught in Lux City. Straw coloured pale lager. Relatively average but at least it wasn’t skunked like many other euro lagers.

I’ve drink this beer under the castle of buillon in a perfect ambient to drink beer, an anciet bar with a very long list of beers in the menu, and the best, only sale beer, but the very hospitally people of this place goes to a bar and buy french fries to us.

Keg on tap, pasteurised, 500ml at Restaurant D’Tuille, Stenay, France. Pale straw with white head. Pretty standard Eurofizz malty lager, not clever and not good.

Bottle. Pours a goldenish colour with a rather short white head. the aroma is abit sweetish with some malt and bit hops. The flavour is a bit malty with some hoppiness and a bit sweetness. The finish is dry and bit hoppish. Simple rather boring brew.

From my notes 5/29/2007 pours a one-finger white head that fades quickly leaving a trace of lace. Crystal clear amber color. Skunky nose. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is hoppy, occasional sweetness, hoppy/metallic finish. €2.00 ($2.74) for a 330ml bottle from Euro-bar Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
