   AROMA 3/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 3/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 5/20
Nate (3557) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2004
Light sweet aroma, corny-grainy, with little hops effect. Not much of an aroma at all. Clear light yellow with white, slightly lacing head that dissipates quickly. Light-medium watery body with light carbonation. Starts mildly acidic, with some sweetness. Some grain flavor, little hops. Trace of sweet remains through finish and after, though bitterness comes in to finish, and strengthens through the after. Light alum bitterness remains a while. Not crisp enough to be considered refreshing. Best cold and quick.

Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - APR 4, 2004
Small head on a pale yellow body. Sweet and stuffy aroma. Malty and hoppy flavor, a typical pilsner. Forget it....!!

Ungstrup (28462) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2004
A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty and so is the flavor. A boring lager.

Golden coloured. Quite a boring pilsener without much aroma nor flavour. Quite thin.

bierkoning (9836) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2004
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2011 Grainy, dusty apple aroma and flavor. Sweetish, I can hardly taste any hops. Bland and sticky. Sad pilsener of dubious quality. A second sampling in 2010 largely confirms this rating.

jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - OCT 20, 2002
Not much aroma. Golden colour, good lace. Boring pilsener, pretty flavorless, just some malts. Short finish.

Golden coloured. Thin, but rather complex and with some saaz hop aroma.

Oakes (11866) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 10, 2001
Slighty hazy golden hue; corn and alcohol dominate the nose, with some light hop; remove the hop and you have the flavour. Insipid finish.

Not really a great beer, rather flat, without any hint of exitement, but after drinking this a vacation in Luxemburg it grows on you.
