Light sweet aroma, corny-grainy, with little hops effect. Not much of an aroma at all. Clear light yellow with white, slightly lacing head that dissipates quickly. Light-medium watery body with light carbonation. Starts mildly acidic, with some sweetness. Some grain flavor, little hops. Trace of sweet remains through finish and after, though bitterness comes in to finish, and strengthens through the after. Light alum bitterness remains a while. Not crisp enough to be considered refreshing. Best cold and quick.

Can. Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma and taste of hops and malts. Ordinary pale lager.

Idiosynkrasie (3587) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JAN 21, 2012
250ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Almost Pilsener-like hop and malt aroma. Slightly sweet malt taste with a fizzy finish. Not totally boring.

Yet another example of poor and dull Luxembourg beers (like I said at another occasion that I’m always willed to get proofed wrong). It pours out of the bottle in a clear light golden colour, low airy head and thin body. Nose of thin malt and bitter hops. Taste of dry-bitter dull dusty hops, basement, grass and barley. Quite metallic and thin finish. Not even really refreshing. Awful one.

Golden amber with small white bubbles. Sour weedy malt smell. Sour bitter alcohol taste.

Sold on tap as Diekirch Pilsner - Pours clear yellow with a one finger white head that laces a bit. The aroma is light and malty. The taste is of light, sweet, grainy malt with some mild hops. It’s a little watery and while not a bad beer per se, there’s little to recommend here.

Golden colored, medium white head. Medium hopped aroma with malts and slight lemon. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is crispily hopped with some carbonation. Refreshing lager.

33cl Bottle, brought all the way over the Alps to Ste Maxime to be drank on my hotel room patio in the sun on 15 Sep 2013. Pale yellow/gold with no head or smell (gets my regular 3 for a non smelling lager/pilsner). Grainy, semi-sweet and generally OK. Softer than it’s German Pilsner mates, this isn’t a bad beer, just not as crisp or sharp as others in this style.
