On tap. Nice appearance but watery and too sweet in the finish. Carbonisation ok.

25CL Bottle at home, very light yellow beer with a small head, aroma is sweet, malt. Taste is the same, meh mass produced but not that bad.

An everage, every day beer. Nothing shocking, nothing irritating but nothing thirilling either. A lot of people told me that this beer was much better by the time, but since the brewery was bought by the ABInBev giant, it transformed into a chracterless mass product.

Beautiful carbonation - lots of bubbles. Very light transparent beer with a generous head. Smell is malty yeasty with subtle white pepper and cereal. Taste is mainly bitter watery with hints of salt and a typical German bitter astringent finish.

Alengrin (2331) - BELGIUM - AUG 8, 2014
The best-known beer in Luxembourg, tasted from bottle and from can. Thin, lightly sticky, quickly desintegrating head on a standard golden blonde colour with calm sparkling. Simple aroma of pale malts, corn, iron and flowery hops. Neutral taste with tingling carbonation, then sweetish pale malts, finishing relatively long and dry thanks to aromatic hops - a redeeming feature of an otherwise very bland lager.

Very little taste and aroma. Would only drink it icecold for thirst on a hot summer day. Disappointing

Bottle: clear golden color with a very nice, white stable head. Not much of aroma or taste. Quite flat. Little bitterness. Average.

Tijdens vakantie in Luxemburg, gouden, moutig, vrij licht spul, standaard lichte pils had toen niet altijd mooi weer waardoor de waardering voor zo’n licht bier wat naar beneden werd bijgesteld.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2014 From the archives, 2009. Bottle. Clear pale golden, small white head, disappears quickly; sweet malty nose, grainy, grassy hops; mild medium sweet, slightly bitter; medium body, oily texture; semi-dry bittersweet finish, bit watery.

Standard pils, quite okay in bottle or can, typical barbecue or football beer. Not really hoppy or malty or remarkable in any way.
