2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours amber with off-white head. Aroma is reminiscent of champagne with a hint of hops. Taste is somewhat construed with no real discernible hop or malt profiles. More flavor than your run-of-the-mill brew but I wouldn’t consider those flavors to be desirable at all.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
19th May 2015: Laguna Niguel, California. 12oz bottle into a Corsendonk badged stemmed tulip while cooking oven chips and Bratwurst. Clear and bright amber pour, white head on top. Pleasant hop nose and flavour: not so ’in your face’ as the West Coast varieties I have been experiencing in California. This is calmer, but still hoppy first and foremost. although the bitterness is tempered by the malt content somewhat. Not for the hop heads amongst us but decent enough and a lot closer to an English IPA than a West Coast of the US style.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear brew with amber colour. Hps and pinecones, altough muted are the aroma’s main character but there is a soapy note in this that I can’t shake. American styled IPA but fairly medium body and again that soap taste comes through. not a fan.

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Dieselpunk had surprised me, there beer is very subtle, smooth. Almost a velvety finish. Definitely like this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: Dispenses a clear, coppery body with an inch of whitish head yielding a bit of lacing.
Smell: Pale maltiness, touches of toasted grains, a small lick of caramel. Herb, spice and lemon from the hops, but this all is pretty mild, too.
Taste: Pale malts, lightly grainy with some candied, sugary notes, but, it’s acceptable. Light lemony citrus and spicy hops impart a restrained level of bitterness, leaving it on the mild end of the spectrum. Upon warming, a little harsh solventy hint begins to show and holds through the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not particularly good and the cracks start to show as it warms.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
OK label, standard US longneck, clear golden brew, thin white head. Reasonably good aroma - I haven’t got the patience tonight to characterize the complexities of a Genesee contract beer. Happy, hoppy and malty notes with lemon pith and malt. Some chemical tones in there. Finishes out with some clingy citrus, pith, tangy malt. Kroger, Savannah.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle pours light copper with white head. Aroma caramel, butterscotch, toffee, earthy very little hop aroma. Taste is caramel, alcohol, not very much hop, toffee, on the sweet side, light grain. Medium light. Not the best IPA unless its an english then maybe ok.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours into the glass a brownish amber with a wispy head that leaves light ring retention. The nose has some grains. This is very sweet upfront, caramel and fruitiness. The body is thin and has some grains and messy bitters to finish. I can’t find a whole lot of IPA in this, unfortunately. The spices in addition to its sweetness and lack of palate substance makes it feel cheaply made, almost like a brewer trying to hard to make the "craft" offering appeal to the macro crowd. Not great.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
This is to beer what your home chemistry set experiments were to chemistry. The "IPA" label seems to have been chosen at random simply because no other labels worked. The dominant flavors are fruit sweetness and spices (like a really low quality Belgian spice mix). It’s not quite a drain pour--If you really need the alcohol, you can finish it--but otherwise it’s not worth the calories.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tall boy. Pours a nice clear amber with a thick foamy ivory head. Thick lacing. Aroma of caramel, pine, and grains. This is sickly sweet. A hot mess. Everything across the board. Such a weird mixture. Sweet caramel and grains overpower the floral and pine hops. Sweet fruit in there too. I like my IPAs bitter and hoppy. This is just too sweet for me. Total disappointment

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Grain and hop aroma with a wink of fruit added
Appearance- clear slightly dark orange body, with a small white head with no retention.
Taste- Bitter malt taste has a mildly unpleasant aftertaste
Palate- Lightly carbonated, with a medium body that has an oily texture that finishes with a bitterness at the end.
Overall- An average IPA. Has the bitter finish and a pretty good color. Definitely not the best I have had.
