Can. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. Good brew.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
10/28/13. 16oz can from Jen’s and Friends while chillin’ in Savannah. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Malty aroma, earthy hops, lots of bread and caramel. Similarly malty flavor, almost no hop to speak of - an earthy or floral sense, but nothing else. Meh.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
16oz can, thanks to Caterwaul. Shared with friends over a game of Catan. Code on bottle is "0143 09:51". Clear orange color. Big tall off-white head, fades to a thin, rocky amount, leaves some bubbly lace. Musty, caramel, and lightly spicy aroma. Big caramel malt in the aroma. Mostly sweet, light bitter, some spiciness. Some unnecessary musty wet sock aroma. Medium body. Lighter, soft carbonation. Lightly syrupy in the body, but a more dry finish. Definitely very subpar for an IPA. Pretty spicy, and a light buzz / burn in the finish. Not good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can to pint (thanks jmborggren). Looks decent; a transparent amberish orange with foamy off-white head. Smells and tastes of bitter hops with a pale malt backbone. Average on the palate. An okay beer, but an underwhelming IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a nice clear amber with a fairly thick and fluffy ivory head. Aroma is hoppy but not strong or complex. Tolerable, though. Hoppy flavor has a fruity underpinning, orange and apple, stronger than what the aroma promises. Texture has average fizz and viscosity, and leaves an acceptable hoppy finish. Definitely not the best IPA I have had - but palatable. Good for a party.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with very little head on it. Nose is pretty hoppy with a slight bit of citrus in there, but it smells like the hops are old. Taste is bitter, but in a disappointing way, like bitterness for bitterness’ sake, rather than using the full palate of the hops. Mediocre at best.

A little leafy/earthy.
Fairly straightforward, mild IPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Oops, this beer is called Dieselpunk India Pale Ale.16oz can - pours clear copper with creamy ivory head and great lacing. Nose is grassy and light citrus. Flavor adds resin, caramel, and a little grapefruit. Moderately bitter for style and a little sweet. A great value and tasty but nothing out of the ordinary for the style. A standard IPA which is reminiscent of Torpedo but not as flavorful or complex for that matter. Curious to try the porter and stout.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Diesel punk IPA, bought mostly due to name and label. This beer pours a worn penny copper. Head is firm small bubbles. Nose is faint with hops, additionally there is some sweet notes like watered honey. Taste is back of the mouth floral hop bitterness. Body is light but with some fizz. A bit less kick than the average IPA, still a good drinking beer. Maybe one to get your friends as an introductory IPA, the label will sell them.
