Commercial Description:
This beer was born from the blending of two enduring traditions: Scottish brewing and Québec’s maple syrup production. It is a perfect balance between a maple beverage and beer. The taste of the maple syrup adds to the complexity of the beer, without being overpowering. The first draught fills the mouth with a taste of woody malt which is sustained by a discrete syrupy savour. The lingering aftertaste is one of warm alcohol which coats the mouth with the sweetness of maple toffee. Many maple beers have been brewed in Québec, however the ´ Équinoxe du printemps ª is the first to succeed in producing a beer that truly bears the essence of maple syrup.

341ml bottle. thanks to Dany (Glouglouburp) for this great extra in our trade at DLD. pours dark reddish brown with creamy off white head. the aroma is surprisingly yeasty, butterscotch, bread, and dark fruit. flavors are yeasty, maple syrup, dark fruit, and toffee. slightly fizzy mouth feel. really tasty if only a bit too yeasty.

341ml brown bottle from Goldorak. Reddish brown colour. Good tight tan head, fades into a surface swirl. Sweet caramel and toffee aroma with a hint of boozy alcohol and rasins. Flavour is all about malt, rasiny fruit, nutty notes, strong toffee and caramel sweetness. End is woody, boozy and sweet with late hop notes. Medium slick body, light carbonation. Bottled versions states abv is 8%

Bottle. Medium high creamy and lasting off-white head. Hazy orange to red body. Powerful fruity aroma. Fruity and spicy flavor on the background of roasted barley malt. Suitable amount of carbonation and a long roasted caramel cocoa aftertaste. Nice surprise.

Bottle. A dark red brown beer with a big beige head. The first thing in the aroma is carboard, not very plesant, but the caramel, alcohol, fruit, rye bread and floral part is quit nise, especialy in the taste. Medium body with a sparkeling, dry alcoholic finish.
