COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

An opaque, coppery ale with a short lasting white head that leaves a nice lacing. Smell is oranges, citrus. Flavor is oranges, malt, some citrusy bitterness. Medium body, resinous, sticky mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Pretty good.

Bottle at Gollem, Antwerp 22/08/15. Hazy yellow color, lots of citrus and grapefruit aromas, pretty bitter but well balanced.

Bottle from Gollem Antwerp. Pours yellow/blonde, OK white head. Smell is hoppy, very aromatic tropical fruits. Taste is bitter, peach, mango, grassy. A lot like the hoppyness of Heady topper, actually, or is it just my mind playing tricks on me ? The maltbase seems different though. Easy drinkin, thnx to its nice carbo and Mouthfeel. Aftertaste wears of surprisingly, and dissapointingly fast. bitterness is present, but not nearly as intense as heady. ( gotta compare them right? ) a very nice IPA indeed, but perhaps my expecttions were set a bit to high.

Sampled from bottle @ RBBSG 2015. Clear orange golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, really grassy and fresh, papaya according to 77ships. Taste lightly malts, again lovely fresh and grassy, suitably bitter. Very nice.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel, Montreal. It’s a hazy, golden beer topped by a small, white head. Peaches, pine cones, grass and some pale malts fill the nose. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, with a good bitterness and some piney, peachy hops on a light malty backdrop. Long bitter and citrusy finish. A bit low on complexity perhaps this one, but it’s sure a fine brew anyway. 150612

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy lightish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus and hops, with subtle estery and malty touches. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour with balanced citric notes and malty touches. Hints of yeast. Lingering, bitter afteraste with citric hints. Well-balanced, perfect-bodied, refreshing. Just great.

Golden, slightly cloudy body. Big not lasting white head. Strong aroma, lots of citrus, graprefruits, orange, sweet malt. Great nose. Flavour is strong as well. First lots of fruits, then bitterness, then more fruits. When the fight between the fruits and bitterness is finish, a long bitter dry finish kicks in. When the bitterness fade, some fruity aftertaste can be felt Creamy body, medium carbo. Impressive beer.
