New England Bucket List Trip #151. Keg at St. Jerome. Pours a hazy orange with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of dry, zesty citrus and pale malt. The taste is citrus, tropical hops, clean pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Glowing orange with a soapy white head. Aroma and taste are huge tropical and citrus fruits. Extremely smooth drinkable mouthfeel. Excellent.

Glorious orange pour with a heady aroma of grapefruit and pineapple, with a healthy dose of resiny pine thrown in the mix. Then more citrus, some tropical fruit and a heaping helping of delicious sticky bitterness. I’ve waited a year for this to return. An amazing beer

Pale yellow with hints of grey in it. Full white head. Aroma of fresh, green hops, lychee, mango and kumquats. Tastes like a basket of tropical fruits, citrus and berries! Some notes of resin and wood. Hoppy finish.

On draft. Dark gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of sweet citrus, pine resin, and pale malt. More malt and pine-sap forward in the mouth than expected, with the citrus elements taking a bit of a back seat. Herbal notes come into play as well. Chunky bitterness and medium bodied. More "classic" American IPA than I was expecting. Just ok.

Amber hazy body. Delicious aroma of strong hops, caramel malts, more hops, tropical fruit, springtime air, more hops. Super juicy. Super delicious. Stunning. Certainly one of the best IPA’s I’ve ever had. (Bottle from Saveur Bière)

App : Golden orange, hazy with two finger of a soapy head that die down into a thin film. Pretty much what you would expect for the style. Nose : Grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind, stone fruits, resinous tree sap, pineapple with a bit of cat pee and malt in the back. Very citrusy and tropical. Taste : No suprise here with big grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind and fresh citrus juices , slight peach and mango, piny resin and herbal bitterness in the finish. The malt is very subtle as it should be for an IPA and leave the floor for the hops to shine. Bottom line, this is an excellent beer. Quickly becoming one of my go to ipa along with Yakima from Le Castor. It pretty much hits all the right notes for an IPA. Highly recommanded, good value for the price too. You cant go wrong with this one. Cheers!
