COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

A really young bottle, and the hops hit hard! Pours bright orange, with a late haze if you pour too hard. Pine hops on the nose and a hard hop finish. World class IPA

Great west coast ipa. Pour is cloudy gold with decent retention and lacing. Nose is heavy grapefruit with tropical fruit and pine. Pure hop bomb. Taste is bready malt with tropical fruit, fresh citrus and a dry pine/grapefruit finish. May not be terribly original but it’s extremely well-executed.

Nod to west-coast contemporaries. Tropicals and a familiar grapefruit/pine combo. Sadly, although enticing it’s a little subdued and fades quickly. Taste is hop-forward grapefruit, some pine resin in the background. Orange rind and crisp pithy finish. Again flavor is reigned in and entirely derivative. Palate is flimsy. Ok.

Keg at Brewdog. Hazy orange, still, small white head. Aroma is fresh and hoppy…earthy yet fruity…grapefruit, lime. Body is medium to light, soft spritz. Taste is again, hop-forward - classic pine and grapefruit combo, a touch of onion. Nice IPA.

Keg at BD CJ - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Juicy and resinous aroma with notes of honeydew, citrus, pale bread, pine. Medium sweet flavor with ripe citrus fruits, some light grassy bitteness, orange rind, pithy grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish but also fairly crisp and drying, with further rindy and pithy citrus. Solid IPA.

Keg at BD CJ. It pours hazy deep orange with a small white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, orange, tangerine, candy and sherbet. The taste is bitter-sweet, juicy, tangerine, orange, grapefruit, resin, waxy citrus peel, good malt back-bone light booze and piney resin with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather lovely stuff.

341 ml bottle @ Timo A.
Pours hazy golden color with a small head. Aroma on this one is just right, floral hops, slight bitter malty tones, citric fruits, pine notes and some gooseberry bush. Grapefruits, mandarin and mango on the flavor, slightly resinous notes also, faint caramel and pine. Hop profile is excellent, very tasty also.

341 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A, as always. Pours a cloudy golden amber colour with a small head. Aroma ia very complex with notes of orange pith, citrus, herbs and grass. Rich flavour of strong floral bitterness, pine, wet hops, grapefruit, herbs and grass. Full bodied. Really fresh and strong bitterness. Finishes long, dry, citrusy finish. Brilliant balance. I need more.
