4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
draught. hazy golden-orange body, with a moderately sized frothy head. aroma consists of bread, yeast, and sweet cookie dough. Very flavourful with an adequate amount of hoppiness as well as that cookie-malt in the aroma. It’s quite sweet overall. The balance and drinkability of this is just incredible. Probably my favourite pils.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Delicious brew. The pour is a bright and vibrant glowing orange with a bright finger of white head. The nose is funky....with a good dose of barnyard funk, hay, acetic notes and juicy fruits. The mid palate is sweet, toasty and fruity with light funky notes and light bitterness. The finish is a bit bitter with a warm booziness. Overall a nice brew.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2011 341ml bottle from Peluso. Bottled September 2011.
Appearance : Clear amber with small head. Nice color.
Aroma : Malt and grain with notes of honey. Light esters. Light herbal and citrusy hops. Mostly grain and honey.
Taste : Grain and honey with light herbal and citrusy hops. Finish hoppy with malt and honey. Light bitterness with warm alcohol. Malt and honey.
Overall : Not bad but I really don’t get this style. Too much honey and alcohol for my taste. A bit too grainy. Nothing wrong but I don’t see why I would get to the beer store and really want to drink this specific beer. There’s nothing worthy there for me. Again, I don’t have anything bad to say about this beer but just "why ?"...
On tap @ DDC. Pours pale amber with medium head. Some lacing. Delightful. Nose is fruity yeast and hops. Some sweetness and grapefruit. Taste is very fruity, some hoppy grapefruits. Quite sweet. September 24th 2010. 8,3,8,3,16; 3.8
Re-rate 100307. On tap at DDC
Aroma : Yeasty and estery. Quite fruity. Lots of alcohol
Taste : Fruity esters. Bitter finish. Lots of alcohol. Quite warm.
Overall : Nice yeasty and fruity profile but way too hot. It would have been awesome without all this booze. March 7 2010. 7,3,7,3,16;3.6

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
RBSG 2005 at DDC: Clear brilliant copper body and a thin white head. Moderate yeast and hop aroma. Taste is sweet and not much resembling a pilsener except the aroma. (shown as an Imperial Pilsener at DDC) Mild fruit flavor-grape and apple. A little wood, rubber and plastic also.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
341 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden blonde with a very short-lasting white head. Smell is hoppy. Taste is butter (???) and caramel. Some lemon, citrusy bitterness, along with pepper. Did I also detect some pear? Medium bodied, velvety mouthfeel. Very good pilsner - actually reminded me of a Belgian strong ale...but...oh well, it was good!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home, thanks to Fred82. Pours lightly hazy polished copper; thin white head, lacing is spotty to poor. Nose is floral, with creamy notes, some honey, some real mineral/chalk notes here as well, also a hint of cold cream. Flavours of soft earth, some hop florals/bitterness, a touch on the vegetal side, which isn’t really grabbing me... Pleasantly malty throughout, some real spiciness and candied stonefruit comes through as well. Dried fruit, especially apricots, and some tobacco towards the finish. A solid brew, but something I’m rather glad just to have one of.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bouteille 341 ml. 8.5%. Couleur jaune foncé presque ambrée. Mousse blanche. Arôme de céréales, houblon et un peu de citrus. En bouche, crémeuse, herbes, malt, agrumes et un peu de de caramel. Finale en amertume et un peu de sucré. Excellente. Merci encore Dieu du Ciel.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
4-pack from Marche Omni. Pours clear amber with little-to-no head. Aroma has some fruit, brown sugar, yeast, and alcohol. Taste is honey and malt, and is packed with alcohol; surprising because 8.5% isn’t THAT strong. Bitter finish. Thick palate that is much more suited for an ale than a pilsener. A little disappointing from such an amazing brewery.
