JulienHuxley (3017) - Hilversum, NETHERLANDS - JUL 14, 2012
On tap, as a 6.9% ipa. Darkish hazy gold pour. Earthy grassy piney hop aroma, pine needles, forest floor. A bit of caramel, malty but not overly so. Bitterness is a tad high compared to the aroma hops, slightly tongue numbing. Lively prickly carbonation. Pretty good.

On tap at the brewpub. Beautiful hazy amber body with a good off-white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with citrusy and grainy hints. Its well balanced hoppy taste carries melon, grapefruit, and malty notes. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Very good.

Amber-copper color, with a thick beige head, mild floral pineyness, grassy, coniferous hop nose with a nice citrus, lime, lemonn, tangerine rind, soft toasty, caramel, biscuity malt accent, with a hint of fruitcake in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, light fruitiness, good flowery soapy, leafy, grassy, piney hoppy character with some subtle earthy tobacco leafiness, faint nuttiness, toasted, caramel malt flavours, with a lemom, lime, grapefruit peel, coniferous undertone, leading towards a zesty citrus peel, great leafy, grassy, piney hop bitterness finish.

(10 mars 2013)

tom10101 (2726) - Quebec, CANADA - JUN 19, 2013
On tap @ DDC (Montréal). Hazy golden/amber with a small/medium spotty off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is earthy and grassy with pine and light citrus and caramel. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with earthy notes, grass, caramel, pine and a moderate to heavy bitter finish. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Average APA-IPA. Not enough aromatic hops and too much bitterness. Too much earthy notes for my liking.

Spab (2357) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2012
On tap at Wvrst. Pours a hazy orange brown with moderate-sized off-white head. Aroma is citrus and caramel. Flavour is juicy citric hops, caramel and bread. Sharp bitterness in finish. Fine but active carbonation. Nice.

glennmastrange (2241) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Tap. Light to moderate malt notes of light bread and roasted, light pine, dough and sweat for the hops and yeast, with background notes of sour cherry, wood and faint dried fruit. Head is average size, rocky, with good crusty lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear copper red. Flavor is moderately acidic to start and finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively to fizzy carbonation. The aroma is a little bland and a bit off but the flavor is pretty nice in this American Pale Ale.

Light resin hop aroma with a moderate amount of malts. Cloudy orange color with a medium white head. Sweet rye beginning that quickly changes to a lasting moderate bitter finish.

Excellente.

neuromatt (1139) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2013
On tap at the Dieu du Ciel tap takeover at WVRST in Toronto, served in a tulip. Pours hazy reddish amber with a moderate off-white head that remains. The nose has big notes of hops, grapefruit, citrus and pine, along with caramel and toasty malts. The flavour is medium bitter but also slightly sweet, with an American IPA hop bouquet, citric but also slightly peppery. The finish is long and hoppy with a peppery note and a hint of medium toasted malts. On the palate, it is medium in body with a dry texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a nice American IPA with spicy hops and a spicy finish. Not the most interesting brew, but well made. 2012-06-19
