COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed only once a year to keep you warm during the cold winter months, the Blanche Neige (« Snow white ») isn’t your typical wheat beer. Firstly, the level of alochol is surprising and is perceived rapidly both in the bouquet and in the mouth. The spices come through immediately, giving very little room for the usual wheat beer aromas (coriander and curaçao). Cinnamon and clove dominate and the flavours are generously well-rounded thanks no doubt to residual sugars. It is therefore a very sweet beer that is best appreciated slowly.

Bottle at Hrvati. Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The aroma is very rich with a lovely combination of soft cinnamon and clove. There also seems to be a bit of ginger and a lovely bit of malt sweetness. There is a great yeast contribution in here. Moderate bitterness that helps to balance the sweetness. It’s a really lovely brew. Rich and pretty delicious. Fairly warming. Me likey.

Pours a clear golden color with a white head that dissipates quickly and some but little lace. Smls of cinnamon and cloves and nutmeg. Tastes citrusy and a bit wheaty while finishing with cinnamon and nutmeg. Excellent beer!

Pours an orange cloudy. Aroma is cinnamon, cloves and gingerbread cookies. Spices are very pronounce. Taste is same with lots of spice. Nice winter beer.

Bottle. Pours hazed gold with white head. Aroma is overboard with cinnamon sticks, some cloves and phenolic yeast undertones but mostly cinnamon. Flavors are strong cinnamon sticks, cloves, sweet caramel malts, vanilla, some light tangerines, and maple undertones. Lively feel, perfectly executed. Odd beer that somehow works showing off great finese. Perfect Christmas morning beer.

341ml bottle. Bright golden amber color with a splash of thin white foam that vanishes quickly. Peach. Pear and plum in the aroma with a hint of clove. Full in the mouth and holds the alcohol well but there is a little alcohol taste on the palate.

Don’t notice the alcohol in this one but do notice the spices, medium body and only slightly warming, strong and spicy but very drinkable.

341mL bottle, pours a murky golden orange with a small ring of white head. Nose is full of clove and coriander, with some candied sugar and not really any hint of wheat. Flavour isn’t overly appealing, with lots of perfume and sugary notes, not much of the aforementioned spices. Feels a little flat and dull, with very light carbonation. Way too much of the perfume and sugar, killing any complexity there might have been. Not too good.

Pours a hazy honey color with a medium white head. Aroma has lots of spice...clove...and some light orange notes. Flavor is very spicy...clove and cinnamon...bitter. mouthfeel is medium/full and the finish is very spicy and dry.

Bottle 341 ml. Bought at Peluso (Montreal). Served in Trappist glass. Pours cloudy amber. Not much head and no lacing. Similar in appearance to a barley wine. Quite pleasant aroma with strong notes of cinnamon and cloves. Some hints of citrus and alcohol. Taste is really sugary with some bitterness at the end. Alcohol finish. Full bodied beer, really thick. Texture is syrupy. Overall, a very interesting beer, unique in its way.
