34,1 cl bottle (9%) @ lusikka, bottled 05/2012
Aroma is sweet with exotic fruits, gooseberry bush and fruit sugar. Flavour is sweet with exotic fruits, some fruit sugar, caramel malt and hints of alcohol. Rather typical American‐style DIPA Ė and too sweet for me.

Bottled 05/2012 - Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of dark fruits, hints of gooseberries, biscuity malts, caramel and fruity hops. Taste is extremely malty with notes of biscuits, bread, caramel and hints of fruity hops. Finish is malty and biscuity with hints of caramel and fruity hops. Overly malty, quite unbalanced IIPA.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2012 Bottle from Wvrst. Pours hazy amber, with a thin white head. Aroma of raisins and hops. Taste also has raisins and hops, with a distinct spiciness, and some alcohol. Balances sweetness and bitterness nicely. Nice full body with good carbonation. Another winner from DDC.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear amber colour with a slim head which sticks around. Aroma is fruity floral hops normal for western IPA. Flavour starts a little sweet caramel but is over taken by a big hop bitterness. Over all a bit off balanced by not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2012 Hazy and orange colour. Very hoppy in a fruit loop sort of way. It also has a soft cereal note as well. Very hoppy flavour with pronounced fruit juice notes and a dry hopped bitterness. It has a alot of heat, light on the malts, not too heavy on the citrus hops but still a very tasty brew.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - Strong floral and citrus hops, with a bit of liquor. Clear golden amber with a rich thick head. Taste is surprisingly sweet, almost sickeningly so. Hop taste is there but bitterness is actually masked by the caramel and malt sweetness. Rich on the palate, and of course as is normal for a Dieu du Ciel a yeasty/liquor taste in the finish. Too sweet for me, but a great way to get people into a floral IPA.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
341 ml bottle. Pours a clear orangeish amber with a nice white head. Smells like hops and citrus. Tastes like toffee, malt, cereals and a hint of alcohol. Solid hoppy punch in the finish, notes of citrus. Medium, oily body. Top notch pale ale!
