Nose of cocoa and coffee, pours dark red with a brown head. Taste is light aciduous lika cocoa bean and with lots of malty coffee notes. Palate is really long lasting and remaining cocoa as significant taste. Even caramel of the darker type.

Rödsvart med ett litet gult skum. Rostade toner, lite torkad frukt. Avslutningen är rejält besk, tar över helt ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dieu de Ciel Chemin de Croix 6.3% An India Porter bottled in January so quite long in the tooth but it's deep cola black with a creamy beige head. He aroma is mocha coffee with mild mint but I'm guessing the hops have mostly vanished. Medium bodied with a raspy carbonation and a bitter coffee flavor that gives roast while you get a bit of mint and pine bitternous in the finish. Nice but the label says it's not for aging so I'll need to try it again fresh someday. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

341ml bottle, at 6,3%. Pours a really dark brown, with a quickly receding brown head. Roasted, quite hoppy aroma, coffee, caramel, licorice, citrus, ashes. Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Roasted, ashy, hoppy taste, caramel, licorice, coffee beans, chocolate, yeast. Finishes surprisingly harsh and dry, on a rather yeasty note. Not as good as expected. (2016-08-03)

Autre belle offrande de Dieu du Ciel. Chocolat noir, café avec une belle amertume, fruitée, finale rôtie avec une amertume terreuse bien intéressante et balancée. le 341ml, a dark beer with medium head. Nose is intense on fruit hops and dark chocolate. Aroma is on the same, lot of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, espresso, creamy body, medium bitterness, pine and peppery hops. Very long bitter and roasted finish, robust and very tasty.
