Commercial Description:
Corne du diable (French for "Horn of the devil") is a contemporary interpretation of the classic English India Pale Ale. This new style, born on the west coast of North America, is characterized by stronger and hoppier beers. The result is a red ale expressing caramel flavours coming from the malt, sharp bitterness and powerful hop aromas, thanks to dry hopping.

on tap, strong floral head and rich body. This was crisp yet very SMOOTH. Huge aroma of flower and citrus. Finishes bitter but with a hint of malts/alcohol to boot. Solid IPA. I like this for its crisp, fruity flavor and bitter finish. Not for the faint hearted.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Hazy reddish-brown with a broken thin white head. Mild grassy hop aroma - very faint overall. Grassy hop taste with biscuity malts, but very little richness present here, and quite plain overall. Basic.

(Bottled) Very hazy darkish amber with a smallish, fluffy head. Slightly stuffy-hoppy, dried-fruity, grainy-malty aroma. Fruity, quite strongly bitter flavor with some "Severin-like" stinginess (although masked by the reasonable maltiness). Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. A good IPA, but this just didn’t hit the sweetspot for me.

BNottle poured a hazy copper with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, pine, orange peel and a hint of grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthjiness, light pine and light orange peel with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

murky and hazed red bright brown body. dirty flower petals. lasting thick bubbled head that is all white. just a touch of lemon in the nosetastes like my uncle jesse’s front porch smelled when i was a kid . dusty with the wind bringing the scent of the pines and the honeysuckle hanging from the fence line, but under it all dirt, oil, sweat, clay and old wood of everything because everything around there was old even back then the smell of the metal that was always around from the poles holding up the roof to cemtn . the berry patch that grew to the south by the pear tree and at the edge of the property the grape vines that grew fat & so dark that they seemed black all this with the constant sound of a motor somewhere. the wind, the creak of the trees and the constant distant voices just beyond understanding that came from all the other family houses just on the edge. damn. i ramble when i drink sometimes. decent beer. 3 6 6 4 12

Medium sized light tan head with very good retention and plenty of sticky lace. Hazy, orange/copper hued brew. Nose is lightly floral and citrusy with a big toasty malt backing. Body is med/full with a nice carbonation, lightly resiny, clean on the palate. Plenty of hop flavor, light pine, grapefruit, bubblegum and a light earthiness. Malts back and balance out the hops really well, nicely toasty, lightly chewy, fairly dry. Dry, hoppy finish, solid bite. A very nice IPA indeed but at $5 a 12ozer. i,m not sure how many times i,ll be able/want to enjoy it? Bottle procured @statelineliquors.
