Bottle from Dépanneur Rahman. Pours a lightly hazy crimson brown amber with a medium large tanned beige head that fades down to lace steadily. Light citrus and pine hops, a ton of malt, and a touch of barleywine style decomposing fruit…no way to judge the age on this… I’ve had it about 3 months (whoops), but it could have been sitting in the store for days, or a year… no way to tell. Flavor is malty. Medium bodied. Finishes with a big grapefruit note, and a bit more barleywine style fruit. Tasty, but I’d really like to try it fresh on tap. Next trip perhaps.

Odd nose - citrusy and earthy, peach and caramel. The peach and earth take over in the flavor - tasty but strange. LooseCannon (928), Norfolk, Virginia, USA
