| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Rating number 500. Dark amber pour with excellent one finger off white head. Very nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and grassy notes with some floral characteristics as well. Quite pronounced and multi-faceted in its hop character. Sweet malt comes through to create a nice balance, but only barely. Flavor is an excellent balance of bready and caramel malts, with a powerful kick of grassy and floral hops. Citrus character is not as pronounced, but is still noticeable. Full bodied palate with mild carbonation and a surprising cream like texture. Very well put together. An excellent example of a great style. craftycarl21 (551), South Hero, Vermont, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Another old rating. Aroma was of some citrus hops and a little biterness to this one. A solid beer but not that great of an IPA. coyotehunter (548), , Michigan, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2009 Bottle. Pours a murky orange with a very small head and massive pine and resin aromas with a little pineapple and brown sugar. Flavor is a little too brown sugary sweet and finished with crisp conifer forest and alcohol notes. Aggy360 (115), Anchorage/ Vista,CA, Alaska, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2009 Pours a hazy dark amber with a off white head. A sweet malt with a strong caramel toffee nose. Taste is about the same with a good bitter front. A very unique take on an American IPA. The caramel notes in the nose and taste were very unexpectied yet very welcoming. I like how this beer is different from what I thought I was going to get. KnN (723), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Pours a really nice deep orange color with a thin off white head. Aroma is toasted malt, a little citrus, some biscuit smells. Flavor is a little hoppy but more on the sweet malty side with a hint of toast and bread. Kind of yeasty. Not overly bitter, and maybe a bit more towards the English style of things. Interesting beer.
