Cask at Dieu du Ciel. Amber with a nice white head. Fresh hoppy aroma - lotsa floral hops. The flavour is more grapefruit than floral. Some spiciness, presumably from the rye. Decent malt backbone. Nice bitterness throughout. Good body.

foggy brown amber body with decent head. Soft malt aroma. Has a very tasty malt and bitter hops flavour, though the palate is a bit watery. Very drinkable. (Cask version, if there’s a difference)

(automne 2006)

Tap. Amber in the glass with a paltry white head. Home baked biscuits and floral hops abound. Robust caramel nose. Very easy drinking with a roasted sweet finish

Tap at brewpub. Golden malty body, the rye side does not stand out so obviously as a peppery side in the hops takes quite a lot of place. Lemony and floral notes. Long aftertaste. Good stuff, again.

Nice ber pour with a good amount of sticky frothy head. Great aroma of citrus hops with some piney notes and some rye. Flavor is more of the same, and finishes with a nice citrus hop punch. A really nice APA.

Deep copper and brown coloured body with a nice dense tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, bitter malt and some floral scents. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour at first, then fades to light malt and nuts. Aftertaste clean, but showing some floral and hoppy characteristics - nice. Overall, nice - light and mild, but showing some odd and complex tastes. If you only have one here - try something else, but this isn’t horrible! I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 09-April-2009.
