Eructoblaster (1252), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Feb 6, 2005 Updated: Feb 10, 2005Hazy gold/orange body topped with a thin white head. Sweet honeyish aroma with herbal and flowery notes. Very well balanced taste with hoppy, flowery and herbal flavors. Nice and long hoppy finish. Original and distinctive... beerbuzzmontreal (2698), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 21, 2004 Partly clouded amber color. Surprising aroma of honey and rosemary. Intriguing and surprising flavors of honey, rosemary and buckwheat. Strange and very good. muzzlehatch (4425), Burlington, Vermont, USA Feb 16, 2004 Medium clear amber, little head. Strong herbal nose, rosemary for sure and perhaps a touch of onion, just enough to zing and not disgust. Pretty sweet, but with and herbal acerbity that balances nicely, and also just a touch of salt. Very easy to drink and light, yet distinctive. tiggmtl (4176), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Feb 2, 2004 Updated: Feb 19, 2005Re-rate: Strong rosemary aroma. Hazy golden-copper coloured body is topped by shy white head that covers but recedes to ring. Rosemary is very apparent in the sweet malty flavour also with some fair fruity esters (pineapple, orange). Smooth texture with gentle carbonation and medium body. On tap at the brewpub (6-2-6-4-12=3.0). Original rating: Delicate spicy aroma. Clear, dark brown colour with cream coloured dense head. Sweet honey and malt with spicing of rosemary. Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Lingering light spicy bitterness. On tap (7-4-6-5-13=3.5).
