Commercial Description:
This beer is topped with an eternally compact foam and has a wonderfully intense roasted smell with a hint of chocolate. It’s well-rounded and its taste is dominated by roasted flavours which are in symphony with a choir of hops.

Chocolatey and coffee aroma. Thin brown head with dense bubbles. Almost black opaque body. Big chocolate flavour with lots of roasted and dark malts very apparent but no astringency. Very full-bodied. A wonderful sweet stout. On tap.

Une très bonne Stout, on sent tout de suite l’arôme de chocolat et le fort goût de cacao qu’elle laisse dans la bouche.

On tap, DDC. Appearance is deep black with a still, tan head. Aroma is sweetish with some sort of roasty malt/brown sugar. Although the flavor is overall on the creamy sweet side, I also tasted some nice coffee, roasts and charcoal that provided great balance. Finish lingers a bit, with some vanilla to boot. Well crafted as usual, and not as far behind aphrodisiac as the RB ratings would suggest!

fût, drole de stout, couleur brune plus à la manière d’un porter, très crémeux, mousse épaisse et brune, bouche un peu amère, ce n’est pas mon meilleur stout.

On tap. Dark brown color. I already had the Aphrodisiaque back in the days, and that one is a lot like it. This a a really creamy coffee ale, with roasted chocolate and coffee being the main flavor. Like someone said before me, maybe its because it was on tap but the taste didn’t seem as good the bottled ones. Good but not as good as peche mortel!
