Honey colored with a huge white head. Light peach, fresh cut flowers, and a touch of pine in the aroma. The flavor is light, sweet, and a bit fruity at the start before coming on strong at the end with a notable hop bite. Easy to drink, subtle, and still complex. Aroma of oranges, fruits, dryness, candi sugar, and honey. Taste is a bit bland, dry and spicy with a bit of hops. Very lively carbonated with a dry mouthfeel. Subtle floral notes such as lavender and rose. Light sugars but the sugars are covered by hops. Body is creamy with high carbonation. Pours a hazy golden colour with a large, wonderfully aromatic head: full of citrus, orange, pear, honey, grassiness, yeast. Tastes spicy with some citrus, grass, apple, orange, a great, pleasant sourness. Mouthfeel is medium. Dry, slightly bitter hop finish. pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Oct 3, 2008 Gold with a thick white head. Aroma is a light spice with yeast and citrus, light hoppiness, nice easy maltiness. Taste is initially, citrus, light alcohol, and spice. Pretty nice easy drinking belgian style ale. Hank1980 (734), Athens, Georgia, USA Oct 3, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a big white head and lacing. Aroma of typical belgian gold, with yeast, light fruit, and spice. Taste is also of fruit, spice, and yeast. Finish is dry, almost champaign like, and bitter. Mouth is light and easy-drinking. Not a bad drinker.
