COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dernière volonté (French for "Last Will") is a mix of Belgian and English brewing traditions. Complex flavours of hop flowers and spicy, fruity esters from our belgian yeast are perfectly balanced with the robust flavours and aromas of malt. The finish is commandeered by an assertive aroma from dry-hopping.

draft during RBSG visit - aromas of straw, honey, corriander, and banana coming from a cloudy yellow body, lots of grassy hops in the flavors, little bit of the fruits, nice spices, but the aftertaste became very bitter.

Tap at RBSG05. Banana-like sweet aroma with some doughy notes and honey aromas. There are also some pine trees in this. Mildly hazy blonde golden color with a white head. Spicy, flowery, dandelion flavors to start. Finishes very hopped with lots of pine. This is pretty interesting.

Hazy golden honey hue, with thick white foamy head, with lacing, fruity, yeaty, soft floral hop aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with fruity flavors of citrus fruits, even peach and pineapple, yeasty, hoppy, floral hop in a peachy hop bittering finish.

Pour is gloudy golden yellow with a bright white head...smell was spicy corriander and clove...very witbier like...some honey as well...all of those things play into the flavor too, but seemed a little overly sweet...

2005 RBSG - Clove, banana esters on the nose. Light spice, ginger, clove, banana, honey, very light on the palate. Hint of hops to finish, this is decent. If the palate were a little heavier it would really be good.

RBSG 2005 at DDC: Golden yellow body with a small white head. Weed, ginger and cut grass in the aroma. Flavor is all over the place- honey sweetness, weeds, hops, and ginger. A little banana also. Pretty sweet finish. Strange but good.
