Jun 16, 2009 11.5 ounce bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours a golden color, hazy, with a large white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is bread, lots of spice and lots of citrus and other fruit notes. Taste is caramel, bread, toffee and spice. Dry finish. Medium-full bodied. Good beer.

Jun 16, 2009 Great hazy peach pour with one finger white head and thick lacing. Aroma is predominantly citrus ans spicy yeast. Clove and banana compliment an almost pine like hop character. Flavor is very well spiced- tons of coriander and clove complimented by a multitude of fruity notes. Palate is quite full for the style, leaving a dry finish that begs to be replenished. Excellent.

Jun 16, 2009 Pours a nice hazy peach with evident yeast sediment and a creamy head. Aroma has lots of spice notes, with clove, coriander, and fruity esters. Flavor is very nice- starts with a standard belgian ale flavor of spice and fruit, but the finish has a very nice hoppiness to it. A really solid effort by DDC- damn tasty brew.

Jun 15, 2009 12 oz. Bright, clean, golden color. Prominent and forceful head. Nose of sweet honey, hops, and some spicy element, white pepper maybe. Palate is decent, flavor drops off a bit on the finish. Golden-esque but with more hop character. Nice hybrid of styles Smells like Chanterelle Mushrooms! Apricots and earth!

Jun 14, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a bright gold and a big lacy head of tight white bubbles. Aroma is actually more like an APA or sweet IPA. The flavors have some elements of an abbey ale, sweet and mildly spiced but the hop character really cover it up. I’m kinda confused by this conflicting characters of this beer.

Jun 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy, light orange, very thick, slightly off-white head. Aroma is very subtle, sweet malt. Flavor is sweet malt and some sublte fruit notes, maybe some spices in the background.
