Commercial Description:
Dernière volonté (French for "Last Will") is a mix of Belgian and English brewing traditions. Complex flavours of hop flowers and spicy, fruity esters from our belgian yeast are perfectly balanced with the robust flavours and aromas of malt. The finish is commandeered by an assertive aroma from dry-hopping.

A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is malty with slight notes of smoke as well as wheat, while the flavor is sweet spicy with coriander standing out, but also with a clear wheat presence, leading to a dry end.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear golden, rich airy firm head. Floral buckwheat aroma, pineaple andlychee. Sweetish and fruity with marzipan yeastyness. edium bodied with, well rounded mouthfeel. Drier finish. Aromatic orangey hops and Beögian style yeast character. Marked but unassaulting bitteress. A well made, interesting beer.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours muddy pale yellow with a wonderulf, creamy, white head. Aroma is wonderful. Wheaty sweetness, lemons, ginger, yeast, oranges and cloves. Light bretty notes. Highish carbonation, fine and light mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, and it almost feels like a Saison. Pepper, ginger, yeast, wheat, oranges, lemons, banana, green apple and cloves - and just the right amount of hops. Wonderful.

Clear straw golden body with gentle off-white head. Aroma is very piney, mineralic with grassy and leafy green hop tones. Spicy mint and lemongrass fruitiness (pears, oranges). Superb balance between dry-hopping and the belgian ale serving as fundation. Loads of grassy hops, lemon, mild apples and white grapefruit, yeasty. Delicate balance imo. Body could be bigger though, but the moderately high carbonation fits well. Coating aftertaste, bitter, sprucey. Very interesting.
