3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (22 oz) @ DDC (Montréal). Shared with Alex & Max. Clear golden/amber with a small quickly diminishing white head and little to no lacing. Aroma is of berries, light funk, light sweetness notes and some acidic notes. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with light berries (way less than in the aroma), light sourness... not bad, but somewhat bland. Medium body. Low carbonation. Average to good fruity Sour. Better than the regular Exorciste. Nice balance between sweet and sour, but theres a lack of complexity.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
In short: A tart wheaty-fruity amber beer with farmhouse funk. Very good.
How: Bottle 22oz, split three-way at the brewpub on the day of the beer release.
The look: Cloudy pale amber with almost no head.
In long: Nose is obviously more fruity than the base beer but with the same wheaty character and farmhouse funk. Taste is also more fruity although the actual fruit is hard to pinpoint, it is simply fruity in the broad sense of the term. Same wheaty lemony tartness and farmhouse funk as in the base beer but with a lower acidity sensation. Same low carbonation but with a more pleasant fuller and more doughy mouthfeel. I slightly preferred this fruit version over the regular Exorciste mostly because of its more pleasant fuller mouthfeel. And speaking of exorcist, Im once again afraid my house is possessed, thats terrible, and my local priest says no exorcist cant help me and I have to stop spending all my money on beer if dont want my house to be repossessed.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
650mL bottle at the Dieu du Ciel 14th anniversary party, split with Glouglouburp. Pours a cloudy golden with some white bubbles for a head. Aroma is a lot fruitier than the regular, with some miscellaneous berries, some slight tartness, and some wild yeasts still detectable. Flavour brings out prominent white wine notes and wild yeasts upfront, melded with some berry-like fruitiness. This one is even more complex than the regular, bringing out the wild character even more. Delicious stuff.
