I was actually terribly bored by this, the first beer I tried at The Festival 2013. Just a kind of generic lightly bretty clean wild ale with wisps of tartness but nothing super exciting going on. Certainly not bad, but I expected much more from DDC!.

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur jaune paille trouble, absence de mousse, laiteux. Arôme de Brett, acidité, céréales, blé, yogourt nature. Goût de Brett, grande acidité, blé, céréales, champignon. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen.

Bottle - Soured wheat and some fleshy white fruit. Hazy yellow with a decent white head. Soured wheat notes, some peach and citrus acidity. Nice.

Bottle 750ml at Bateau de Nuit. Pours slightly hazy pale blond/yellow with no head. Aroma is of wheat, fruits, citrus, vinegar. Taste is of acetic acid, citrus, fruits, wheat. The whole gives and impression of funkiness. Palate: Light body, so serious carbonation. Overall: Quite good, nothing overdone, but kind of flat. Enjoyable.

Lots going on in here. Sour and yeasty/wheaty. Plenty of sharp citrus, pine and grass notes from the hops.

Pours a bright golden yellow with a thin soapy, bubbly white head. Huge bubbles spread to the rim and ligner a bit. The aroma is sour and tart with big acetic notes and citrus fruit notes. A lot of interesting yeast and ester notes. A bit sweet in the middle with citrus and pear fruit notes. The finish is tart, sour and dry with a musty note. A good brew but a bit monotone.

[6690-20140823] Tap. Fruity wheat yeast aroma. Hazy, pale bright orange body with a quick foamy white head. Sour fruity sourdough flavour. Medium body is quite sour and chewy. Tasty. (7/3/8/4/14) 3.6

Headless with a clouded gold body. Great tart front. Tonic, lemon, cider vinegar. Very tasty but I don't know if it's worth the $18 I paid. Purchased at Metro Liquors.

>> Hazy neon straw pour with weak foam. Nose is funky, mild trash, oddies, mildew, vinegar, something like DMS, too much funk going overboard to just stinky. Taste is tangy, lemon acid, vanilla, slightly buttery, some vinegar. Palate brings some vinegar, salt. Needs some work.
