COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smoked hemp beer.

Rastacouere (6130) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 24, 2005
Orange-amber pour mounted by a lacing white head. A spicy (mint) and fruity, bready nose, supremely clean and diplomatic. Herbal weeds remind of a shaken earthy flower field. Gentle spicy hopping keeps the focus on soft herbal character, procuring a gentle drying out finish. The smoke remains more of a hint than a possessing aspect. From most other brewpubs, we’d have called it too subtle, but DDC has a sense of balance that makes it all come through as a session smoked. Light-medium bodied, rather crisp malty body. Short finish appears kinda rye-ish (hemp I guess) and ponctuated with greatly exacted malty notes.

Eructoblaster (3023) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 23, 2005
Amber body with light carbonation and an average off-white foamy head. Fair malty/hempy aroma with subtle caramel and fruity notes. Nice hoppy taste with woody and smokey hints. It ends with a sharp dry/bitter finish. Pretty well made Smoked.

The Lure:
Minutious smoke lifts from the earth. Alt-like caramel maltiness joins pomegranate fruitiness. Subtle, well-made, not too threatening.

The Festivities:
Smoking earth and caramel dew. Tiny, prickly bubbles pinch the palate through the fruity, peachy maltiness. Faint wooden dryness appears in the end. This is so approachable and well-made, it could replace their regular hemp ale, Fumisterie.

Transcendence:
Applying the first colours on your painting.
