The_Jester (500), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Feb 20, 2008 341 mL bottle. Copper orange with a small head that quickly fades to a ring. Aroma of caramel, hemp, maybe some honey. Flavour of caramel malt, hemp and a little hops at the end. Body is medium to light. Not as impressive as some of their other offerings. Possibly because I’m just not a big fan of the style.
Beershine (1440), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 3, 2008 Clear amber with lasting off-white head. Nutty and seedy aroma, like good granola. Good mouthfeel is soft and solid. Very nutty, lots of toasted hemp seed character. Like a whole grain bread. Slightly sweet at the beginning wiht a dry finish. One of the most well-crafted hemp beers I have had. DrDavid (332), Johnson, Vermont, USA Sep 30, 2008 (Bottle). Spicy herbal aroma. Amber color with moderate off-white head. Flavor is spicy, with some nuts and bitterness. Different and unusual brew. Rciesla (813), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Sep 30, 2008 Bottle from montreal. Pours an amber body with a pale head. Lots of rye, hemp, spices, pine hop character, and some nuttiness to finish. Little etoh can be noticed due to the spices used. mgermani (617), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 28, 2008 Pours a clear pale brown with a very thin off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is quite similar to a rye ale - definite notes of maple, sweet and lightly nutty. Tastes malty and sweet, present alcohol and maple/nutty finish. Light carbonation, thin body. Good fall beer, couldn’t really have much of it, though. Geth_in_beer (677), Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 15, 2008 Bottle. Hops and malt in the aroma. Pale copper appearance with a frothy white head. Hoppy flavour, caramel, malt a little spice and nuts. Nice beer.
