DDC. Huge sour cherry malty vinegar, like puzzl said almost vile in the nose. Acidic with very light Cranberry fruit. Pass.

Bottle at the DDC 10th Anniversary Party. Here we go again. Unlike the cherry which smelled ok but was undrinkably bad, this one smells bad but tastes pretty good. Very cloudy pink pour. Vile chemicals dominate the aroma, lots of drano and such. The flavor is a warm, sweaty cranberry, with a full body and nice acid. Not too bad. I’d rather something that smell bad and taste good than the opposite.

<i>My Bottom Line:</i><br /> This vigorous P-Lambic offers funky fruitiness sweeping into portentous acetic acidity for a very dry and very puckering ending.<br /> <br /> <i>Further Personal Perceptions:</i><br /> -A ring of big bubbles circles the muddy pale amber.<br /> -Like their other lambic experiments, this smells quite authentic.<br /> -The fruitiness is as much redolent of white grapes as it showcases cranberries.<br /> -The aroma was more fun than the overly intense flavor profile.
