Quevillon (2501) - Boisbriand, Quebec, - JUN 28, 2014
Drank on tap (20 oz) at the brewpub on June 27, 2014. Honey brown, medium head. Pure aroma of Chinook hops, with notes of black tea with lemon. The taste is dry with notes of pine, but there is a side of sweet citrus, bitter alcohol. A single hop beer who is not just bitter!

Des céréales agglutinées par la résine omniprésente donne une corpulence survoltante d’amidon, comme si refermenté en bouteille. Les saveurs elle? Clémentines confites sur pain grillé.

Hazy amber-orange hue, with a thick fluffy beige head, with a nice floral leafy, piney, coniferous, citrus, tobacco hoppy nose, with a lemon, grapefruit peel, lemon pie, mint leaf accent, and a faint toasted, caramel, pale malt, mild peppery, cedary, herbal, hop pellets note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with very good powerful flowery citrus, leafy, piney, resiny, coniferous, minty hoppy character, with some yeasty, doughy, mild caramel, biscuity, toasted, pale malty, lemon pie crust, lemon chewing tobacco, earthlink mint leaf, strong zesty green grapefruit, lemon rind flavours, within a spicy peppery undertone, leading towards a soft caramel, toasted maltiness, long strong lingering piney, resiny, coniferous, citrus hop bitterness finish. Very good chinook single hop ipa.
