On tap at the brewpub, hazy yellow-blonde hue, with a pillowy white head, nice yeasty, milky, wheaty, stewed apple nose, of granny smith apples, with a light bananaish puréed, vanilla note, with some light acidic apple skin, apple cider sweetness accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, wheaty, pale, soft honeyed malt, milkyish, light stewed apple character reminiscent of applesauce, with an apple must, faint apple cider sweetness backbone, leading towards a yeasty, wheaten, milkyish, apple yogurt, faint acidic applesauce finish.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2010 on tap at DdC. pours a beautiful cloudy dark blonde. but very unique. a thick, long lasting white head lays atop. aroma is dominated by apples and wheat, as is the taste. medium bodied, lots of carbonation. this is a very refreshing and well done beer.

BQ2010. On draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy blond with white head. Aroma of hops, wheat, and fruit. Taste is apple, wheat, smooth and delicious. Nicely balanced flavor.

Had this beer while on Beer Quest 2010 with the guys. This was beer number 49. On tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy blond with some white head. Aroma of malts and hops. Some apple. Well balanced flavor.

On tap at brewpub. Appealing fruity aroma. Strong effervescence, almost fizzy (for this fall 09 batch, at least). It is an indeed very fruity beer, quite crisp and sharp, but the apple side does not strike out too aggressivly, but rather smoothly. Interesting lasting hop and fruit finish. I usually don’t like fruit beers very much but this is very good.

En fût. Verre de 12 oz dégusté directement à la brasserie. Arôme: Légère odeur de pulpe de pomme et de blé. Apparence: La couleur est blonde pâle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de pomme. Courte durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de pomme et d’alcool en arrière goût. (Rating #2129)

The look: Partly cloudy blonde body topped by a persistent medium white head.
In long: Nose of wheat and apples with a spicy touch, like some kind of apples dessert. The dominant flavour is granny smith apples. The are hints of dried fruits of other kinds but mainly the beer tastes like granny smith apples. Just like the aforementioned apples the beer has a sharp taste with a medium acidic touch that makes it very hard to take big sips. Fluffy mouthfeel and very active carbonation. Served for the first time in December and hopefully they’ll brew it again during summer. This is a nice beer but December is the wrong time for that type of refreshing beer up here in Montreal where greenhouse effect is a fairy tale we are told as kids the we keep hoping for as we grow up.

Bu en fut sur place dans un verre de 12oz, le 14 décembre 2008. Blonde pale peu claire, petit collet. Arome de blé malté et de jus de pommes sucrés. Goût de jus de pommes, très peu malté et presque pas de céréal, légèrement sûrette. C,est buvable, mais c,est plus jus que bière!

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy blond body with a decent white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with apple notes. Taste is refreshing and well balanced. It ends with a nice bittersweet finish. Well done.
