Huge aroma of citrus fruit, peaches, and plums! wow! the flavor is laced with hoppy goodness. lots of fruit, and a nice peppery spiciness from the hops mixed with the alcohol. Some subtle grains, and some malt just to balance things out. wow, this was a great tripel.

Draught at Dieu du Ciel. Pours a clear gold with a small diminishing creamy white head. Amazing aroma of peach and grapefruit, switching back and forth, along with herbal notes, lots of hops, some yeast and mango -- I love it! Lovely flavour of Belgian yeast, lots of citrus and herbal hops, peach, mango and some alcohol, but nowhere near the 10% abv. Full bodied. An amazing beer.

Tap at brewpub. Very harsh hoppiness, leaving any other flavors in the back. Very citric and bitter, still quite easy to drink. Alchool also clouded by that aggressive citra hop. Very nice aroma of lemon and flowers. Overall fine but there was something a little awkward...

Sampled at the 2010 VT Brewers Fest - Poured a golden amber in color with a small bright white head. Aroma is a heady combination of bready Belgian yeasts and citrusy hops. Flavor pretty much follow suit, but with plenty of fruit flavors too. A Citra-hopped tripel... simply awesome...

On tap at Vermont Brewfest 2010. Light golden pour with a big fluffy head. Aroma is packed with citrus hops, herbs, yeast, a touch of peach, and some floral presence as well. Flavor continues the trend, with lemon and orange rind, herbal notes, dough, and wheat grain. Palate is remarkably smooth and clean, particularly for a 10% beer. Very good stuff.

On tap @ Mondial 2010. Aroma has citrus hops, some decent malt, golden small white head. Flavour has plenty of orange and lemon, a boat load of malt which ties together rather well. Full bodied, extremely well balanced, quite bitter, with a nice tongue tingle. Terrific! My 1000th Canadian Beer

A golden amber ale with a thin white head. A superb aroma of floral orangey hops, funky and sweaty, intense chamomille. In mouth, a rather stiking IPA with herbal pinhey hops, warming alcohol, sweaty blood orange, quite challenging. Rich and warming. On tap at Mondiale de la Bière 2010.

Pours a rich golden hue with a thin white head; yields nice spotty lacing around the glass. Aroma is quite sharp, there are some prominent citrus notes with a piny undertone. Carbonation is at a good level; nice and smooth on the palate. The sharpness of the citrus along with the alcohol is right up front in the flavor, and it gives way to an aromatic piny and resinous hop profile in the finish. Another enjoyable addition to the legendary Dieu du Ciel roster.
