This 9 month old bottle seem to lack something. It was all bitter-herb and alcohol attack without the aromatic finesse and detail. @ Only Cafe - pours a peachy hazy gold with small white head. Aroma has a fine fruit sweetness. Tastes strongly herbal-bitter with sharp alcohol, prickly spicy phenolics, citrus, bartlett pear and granny smith apple. Slight harsh drying palate. This would be cool to try fresh on draught.

341 ml bottle. Bottled on 03/2015.
Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Kind of Saison-y spicy aroma with herbs and lots of yeast, some lemon as well as some earthy notes. Lemon flavor, which is surprisingly sweet also, lots of spices, yeasty and slightly hoppy. Very quaffable, maybe not the most refreshing of Tripels but quite crisp summery brew still. Alcohol is not at play at all here. Very nice.

Draught (10.2%) @ Lambic Foeder. Rated on 25.06.2015
Aroma has sweetish apricot tones, some soapiness and fruit candy. Flavour has toasted sugar, sweet apricot and some alcohol. Rich and nice tripel, one of the best outside Belgium.

Pours golden with an inch of white head. Aroma of spruce, citrus, iced tea. Tastes of chocolate, alcohol, resin, and cherries. Oily mouthfeel. Lingering boozy aftertaste.

Bottle 2014, pours pretty enough . They say Tripel but I say a Belgian styled IPA. I have even let this age a tad, while not all that bitter the tropical, dank, pine and oniony notes are still quite prevalent. One and done.

Dark golden near orange. Fruity citra aroma. Taste was actually surprising, a ton of orange citrus with a belgian yeast and it totally works, fruity orange juice with yeasty goodness.

341 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head that settles quickly. Aromas of mashed fruit and citrus. Flavors of pine, spruce, lemons. mangos and biscuity malts. Nice but not a Tripel - it’s an IIPA.

Good sweet Jesus I love these guys. Pour is cloudy pale orange with a small creamy white cap. Nose is a tantalizing mix of dank, resinous, citrus and tropical fruit hops, with sweet, fruity, sugary malt, bready Belgian yeast and booze. In a nutshell this a really solid tripel with a shit ton of (remarkably complementary) Citra hops. Finish is boozy and bitter, lingering citrus and alcohol warmth. This stuff just works so bloody well. God of the sky indeed.
