Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving scant lacing. Sweet tropcical fruit aromas. Soft yet full with sweet caramel and toffee upfront turning to sharp citrus and tropical fruit and yeast in the lasting warm finish. Nice - I miss new Dieu du Ciel offerings.

Pours a hazy golden amber topped by a finger of off-white head showing nice retention and some chunky lacing. The nose is herbal, spicy, lemony and earthy all at once. A lot more spice than I’m used to in a tripel. The taste is a combination of light bready malts paired with aromatic herbal and citrusy hops, and earthy yeasts. Feels round and heavy with a strong herbal finish fading slowly. An original take on the Tripel style but it might come out to herbal for some. Cheers!

Small head, but excellent webby lace. Cloudy orange-amber color. Relatively dry with a distinct floral hop smell. Well-balanced and very attractive. I note plum with a subtle sweetness. There’s the slightest of soft sour, citrus touch. The swallow and finish are of sweetened grapefruit. Well-balanced and easy to drink. The body is rich but the carbonation high. I would not guess this to be a Tripel, but all of the elements are present. It is far more balanced with a higher level of hop than I expected.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2015 Bottle from Halles St-Jean. Aroma: citrus, mangos, peaches, passion fruit. App: nice hazy peach color, small white head. Some lacing. Taste and Palate: lots of fruits in mouth, medium sweetness, light long bitter and alcohol warming finish. Overall: Pretty good! Enjoyed a lot the fruity aroma and the mouthfeel. Bought a 4-pack and will probably buy another one soon. So yummy and refreshing.

Good sweet Jesus I love these guys. Pour is cloudy pale orange with a small creamy white cap. Nose is a tantalizing mix of dank, resinous, citrus and tropical fruit hops, with sweet, fruity, sugary malt, bready Belgian yeast and booze. In a nutshell this a really solid tripel with a shit ton of (remarkably complementary) Citra hops. Finish is boozy and bitter, lingering citrus and alcohol warmth. This stuff just works so bloody well. God of the sky indeed.

341 ml bottle. Bottled on 03/15. Thanks to Timo A! Clear golden color with a tiny white head. Super balanced sweet and strong citrusy and yoghurty hoppy aroma with some alcohol notes in a great aroma. Wow! The flavor is sweet hops, fruitiness, tropical fruits, alcohol warmth and general greatness. Amazing brew! Wow I say! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Dieu du Ciel. Pours a clear gold with a small diminishing creamy white head. Amazing aroma of peach and grapefruit, switching back and forth, along with herbal notes, lots of hops, some yeast and mango -- I love it! Lovely flavour of Belgian yeast, lots of citrus and herbal hops, peach, mango and some alcohol, but nowhere near the 10% abv. Full bodied. An amazing beer.
