Drank on tap (4 oz) at the brewpub on March 17, 2013. Slightly hazy blond, little head. Aroma of citrus hops and cereals, a little dry. Hoppy taste mild and dry, a bit like Saaz, good bitterness. It is soft but surprisingly good!

On-tap: Poured a light hazy beige color ale with nice pure white foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of dry hoppy notes with light rubber notes. Taste is dominated by dry floral notes with some light rubbery notes and light fruity mango notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but light rubbery notes are not my favorite.

On tap at Festibiere. Dark gold pour with a soft, pillowy snow-white cap. Nose is like walking in a pine forest while holding a fresh, sliced mango. So fresh and inviting. Nice, surprisingly chewy bread/caramel malt with just the right shit ton of Mosaic hops. Bitter piney finish makes me want more. More, damnit.

Aroma is straw, skunk and a sprinkling of melon. Not particularly appealing. Palate thin and watery. A little medicinal honey adds some depth to an otherwise paltry offering. Pangs of orange and melon in the taste, but florals, straw and grass are more dominant. Don’t think I have ever tasted such an introverted offering from such an eccentric hop. Meh.

Keg at Brewdog. Orange with a slight pink hue, cloudy, still, very small white head. Aroma has some light onion, musty feet. Body is light, spritzy. Taste has sodawater, spinach, slightly astringent with light floral notes. For me, this was underflavoured.

Keg at BD CJ - London. Pours hazy, orange-gold with a creamy cap. The nose has lots of honeycomb, some lightly dried berries, leaves, orange. Medium sweet flavor, somewhat bready, with a bit of ripe orange, mild grass, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with lightly toasted pale malts, dark honey, some earth, melon. Not bad.

Scopey (9061) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2014
Keg at BD CJ. It pours cloudy orange with a tiny off-white head. The nose is soft, juicy tropical fruits, orange, tangerine, candied peel, kumquat and sherbet. The taste is crisp, bitter, juicy orange, tangerine, sherbet, tropical, waxy, mild alcohol, mild grassy/herbal and pine with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well-rounded, juicy and very drinkable.
