2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 16, 2003
Very small shy hop aroma. Pale straw colour with anemic head but some lacing. Crisp flavour with some grain and hops apparent. Clean, smooth crisp mouthfeel. This is the beer they always have on tap for the macro beer drinker who may have stumbled in by accident. Nothing too over the top or fancy but a good introduction to beer with flavour. Would I choose to drink this next to everything else this pub has to offer? No way - but I can see why they brew it and for what it is intended to be it's good. On tap.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2008 2008-05-30. Yellow body, tainy white head. Sweet aroma with odd fruity-yeast character. Similar flavour with interestingly bitter touches to an otherwise sweet flavour, touches of mushrooms, florals, something that is creamed-corn like but is not actually. Average palate is actually pretty good for the style. 5-6/2-3/5-6/11 - 2.7 Draft, Dieu Du Ciel, Montreal
<P>October 2003. Clear yellow, with small white head and good lacing. Clean taste, with fruity hoppy notes. 5/3/5/3/11 - 2.7

Dieu du Ciel is trying to make this beer with style and that’s important. Not best by any stretch, true. It got nice aftertaste.

Clear light golden, looks like a Molson; faint aroma and flavor of almonds, sweet, little hops. Too bad this wonderful brewpub feels the need to serve something like this, but it could certainly be worse.
