Dieu du Ciel is trying to make this beer with style and that’s important. Not best by any stretch, true. It got nice aftertaste.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Damico (1402) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Pours golden orange mostly unclear with a creamy tan head. The aroma is lighter malts, like blander wheaty cereal, which you also got dominating on the flavor. This was described on the bottle, so it is no surprise. The body is nice, but you don’t get the full sweet Belgian yeast notes that I like.

slighty hazy golden coloured brew. has aromatic/floral hops notes, somewhat citrus and a hint of malt/cereal. flavours are round, surprisingly big for a 5% beer, slight sweet malted finish. I was pleasantly surprised considering all the negativity of this brew.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerGolem (97) - - MAY 10, 2012
Bottle 341 ml. Pour clear golden with very little white head. Some particules. Aroma is of hops, malt and cereales. Not much more on the taste. Bitter finish and some acidity. Good bodied beer. Not terrible, but not great. Dieu du Ciel! is capable of much better!
Bouteille 341 ml.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 glennmastrange (1638) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - APR 5, 2012
Tap. Light aromas all around, with grain for the malt, perfume for the hops, dough for the yeast with a hint of paper in the background. Head is average size, creamy with some bigger bubbles, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear light amber. Flavor starts lightly acidic and finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a soft carbonation. It needs to warm to get anything out of it, but it’s still light in every way. The best quality to this Blonde Ale is its easy drinking aspect.

341ml bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light fruit and malt. Taste is more complex; light fruit, bready grain, some spice, citrus, yeast and earthy hops on the finish. Light/medium body and lively carbonation.
