COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Péché Mortel (French for "Mortal Sin") is an intensely black and dense beer with very pronounced roasted flavours. Fair trade coffee is infused during the brewing process, intensifying the bitterness of the beer and giving it a powerful coffee taste. Péché mortel is brewed to be savored; we invite you to drink it in moderation.

This stout style, high in alcohol and bitterness in order to favour preservation, was historically brewed to support the long and arduous voyage necessary to export the beer from England to Russia. The word Imperial comes from the fact that the beer was specially brewed for the Russian tsar’s court.

Makalöst fantastisk doft av kaffe, blockchoklad, kan inte bli bättre. Smaken av choklad går igenom ölen. Den är fantastisk! Även kaffe. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose is mostly roast and dark fruit with a coffee. Taste is coffee and more coffee. Some spiciness. Coffee lasts way into the aftertaste. Great!!

Dark black color, opaque with 2 finger tan head. heavy lacing that. Aroma of dark chocolate and espresso very prominent up front. Moderately bitter. Dry. Roast. Full bodied. Long bitter finish. A little alcohol heat, but deceiving with the ABV

Bottle. Black color with a thin beige foamy head. Aroma of oak, peat, licorice and coffee. Dry, bitter taste with some sweetness in otherwise bitter finish. Oily feel. Medium to full body.

Looking pretty good! Poured a nice layer of brown head, not too thick really. ok retention. Extremely dark appearance. A bold, strong taste of roasted malts, dark coffee, and chocolate flavours abound. Almost the same for aroma, but more apparent is the coffee and hints of the alcohol coming through. Mouthfeel had some thickness like a watered down syrup or molasses (not as thick obviously). Goes down pretty easy. Nice sweet aftertaste as well as good bitterness in the finish. Love it!

Olfato bastante intenso e adocicado. Paladar caramelizado e um after taste duradouro. Faltou um algo a mais para se destacar.

Well rounded and perfectly balanced. Coffee expresso nose. Malted expresso in mouth. Full, full body. Long aftertaste of coffee and cocoa. No sugar, no bitternes. One of the best beers I’ve ever had.

Tap. Aroma of coffe and a bit of vanilla. Taste is more of the same, but with a hint of chocolate. Super smooth texture.
