Sweet and roasted aroma of caramel and dark chocolate with notes of roasted bread.
Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, roasted bread, hops and grass.
Hoppy finish.

Tap at CBC. Muddy near black pour. Spotty lace. Nose is muted roast and chocolate. Taste is roasty, heavy chocolate, fudge, pine sap and resinous hops. Soapy, aerated palate. Dry. A bit overcarbonated.

Black/brownish, big offwhite head,lacings
Nose is slight roasty, some caramel and toffee, hint of nuts. Hints of coffee.
Taste is roasty and bitter. Fairly straight forward. Finish is definetly bitter.
Medium to light body, fizzy.

Sample @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Pours very dark reddish brown, almost black, with a thick offwhite head that leaves some lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and malty with dark bread, orange peal, pine, grass, yeast and cereal. Taste is sweet and bitter with pine, grass, orange peal, coffee, wood, lemon zest and hints of vanilla. Mouthfeel is round, very tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and slightly tart with coffee, grass, pine and orange peal.

Fad: Mřrkebrun med et flot skumhoved. Ikke synderlig humlet duft, og knap sĺ brćndt. Sat sig for meget imellem to stole. Smagen er let brćndt, men igen ikke fantastisk.

Pours a black colour with a thick off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate and licorice. Flavour of bitter hops, dark chocolate, licorice and some stuffy maltiness. Medium bodied, thick mouthfeel and a bitter, roasty and a bit stuffy finish. A bit toned down Black IPA.

Pours pitch black with a large white head. Aroma of roasted malts, fruits, chocolate, vanilla and Cocoa. Taste is roasty and fruity with creamy vanilla, chocolate and some grassy hops. Finish is bitter and slightly roasty. Okay, quite chocolatey black IPA.

Pours black color with large foamy head, leaves a nice lacing. Aroma of mild biscuits, ash, dark fruits, hops and grass notes. Flavor of dark malts, dark fruits, mild biscuits, grass notes and some goose berries. Bitter and malty palate with a fruity finish. A bit too biscuity for my taste, otherwise nice.

Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Dark brown beer with a nice beige head. Malty chocolate aroma, hoppy with metallic notes, grassy, some fruits. Hoppy flavor, grassy, metal, chocolate, cocoa notes, some fruits. Bitter metal finish.
