4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Lilja (952) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 7, 2013
Smak och doft av humle, kaffe, choklad, brända toner, karamell. Krämig och fruktig med en bra grapebeska. Lagom söt, väldigt välbalanserad. Kraftfull trots låg alkoholhalt.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 NordicV (760) - Malmö, Sweden, SWEDEN - APR 7, 2013

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ktwse (706) - SWEDEN - APR 5, 2013
Pours dark brown with a finger of foamy tan head. Some particles. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts and light citrus. Distinct bitterness in the taste, mix between dark chocolate and hop bitterness. Finish is long and lingering with the bitterness still very present. Body is light and refreshing with low carbonation.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Div (20) - SWEDEN - APR 5, 2013
Bottled on 01-2013 The first that hits me is the strong aroma of rosted grains, which I do not associate with a Black IPA. It smells more like a porter or stout. The taste is likewise. With some saltyness and a bitter finish. This is not how I like my BIPA. But otherwise, nothing in the aroma or taste that bothered me. An ok drink.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 solidfunk (1786) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 1, 2013
A decent and well-balanced BIPA, if nothing groundbreaking. Pours black with good head, decent lacing. There’s some roast malt and some hops here. A slight note of anise. Consistency is thick and taste leaves bitter. Bottle at The Only Cafe.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BreWedge (173) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 26, 2013
341 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with notable sediment and a very small beige head. Aromas are rich, roasty malt, molasses, nuts, woody aromas like an oak barrel, and maybe a touch of alcohol. Tastes are balanced between roasty and bitter. Smooth and well balanced without a lot of carbonation. Uncomplicated but pleasant.
