Moyenne !

Bottle 341 ml, served in my Uerige altbierglass. Pours clear copper in color with a foamy slightly tan head. Massive amounts of nuttyness in aroma, a bit of some hard toffee and grains. Nutty in taste too, some bitterness as well is there and sweeter notes like some raisins, but just a bit of these. The nuttyness and light bitterness are strongly present in aftertaste and as said there is that sweet dark fruity twist in the end as well. Highly drinkable and great tasting. Nice and delicious altbier.

HopRedHead (123) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 14, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Roadie, sipped from the bottle. German lager maltiness on the nose with a nice sweet, floral hoppiness. Taste has a nice malty backbone, combines the German style malt with a nice crisp, sweet malt and hop profile. Good bitterness accompanying the flavours. Refreshing. Complementary body. Solid beer.

Light red brown. Aroma is dirty off fish sauce. Taste is big malts followed by strong bitterness - tasty. Palate is lingering flavours. Overall, not my sort of style, but a good beer nonetheless.

Nice charming beer. Pours a beautiful ruby amber color with nice off white head. Quite hoppy and balanced for the style. Usually theyre a bit sweet for me but this was nice and malty yet bitter.

Bottle picked up at Zyn in Calgary. Pours a dark orange brown with a thin white head. Very carbonated. Nose is sweet carmalized malt. Sweet roasted malt, nice light bitterness. Quite dry, the malt lingers, then just transitions into the bitter.

Very bitter for an altbier, descent, good malty flavors, well made beer for some Canadians
