Blond like a ray of sunlight, crowned by a thick foam and sustained by a pronounced effervescence, this beer is the delight of all our customers! Its bouquet is the result of a large array of floral and fruity esters which is complemented by a light and delicate fragrance of malts and hops. The first draught reveals a fruity sweetness and a warm touch of alcohol. The hops are only delicately unveiled in the aftertaste.

Draught at brewpub. Another solid brew in this great series, quite a belgian character nicely balanced between bready cereals and dry fruit, hints of spice, dry finish.

On tap @ Dieu du Ciel. Lightly hazed golden straw pour with a finger of white head. Light pear and apple on the nose along with some sweet pale malts and bread. Subtle spice and yeast along with some very light dried flowers. There’s a bit more sweetness on the tongue than I’d care for. A lot of bread, candy, and fruits. Pear seems to be quite prominent. Light bitterness of grass and dried flowers.

Blonde légèrement trouble possédant une mousse blanche relativement abondante. Semble mince.

Well rounded beer. Beautiful light Belgian ale. Pours cloudy blonde with good lacing and head soft carbonation. Floral aroma with some yeast and light booze. Nicely blended. Finishes sweet and sour in nice mix. Tap at Barhop.

On tap @ DDC (Montréal). Hazy blond with a small white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is yeasty with light fruits, citrus and some spices. Taste is moderately sweet and about the same as aroma. Moderate carbonation. Refreshing.

(printemps 2006)

On tap at brewpub. An opaque, whitish blonde with a nice white head, leaves a gorgeous lacing. Smell is lemon. Flavor is cake, yeast, vanilla, white sugar, lemon (seven up?), yellow cherries. Herbal and lemony bitterness. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good "light" belgian.

On tap at DDC Pours hazy blond with very low white head. Good lacing. Aroma and taste are of fruits, malt, hops, some yeast. Overall: Didn’t take alot of notes on the premises, but this one was not interesting.

On tap at Dieu du Ciel, pours a hazy golden / blond with a small white head. Aroma of light Belgian yeast, very subtle candied sugar and not much else. Flavour of cereal malt, Belgian yeas and dry bread. Very subtle and restrained. Decent stuff.
