Blond like a ray of sunlight, crowned by a thick foam and sustained by a pronounced effervescence, this beer is the delight of all our customers! Its bouquet is the result of a large array of floral and fruity esters which is complemented by a light and delicate fragrance of malts and hops. The first draught reveals a fruity sweetness and a warm touch of alcohol. The hops are only delicately unveiled in the aftertaste.

Draught at Dieu du Ciel! Pours a slightly hazy yellow with an average size lasting creamy / fluffy white head. Aroma’s sweet along with light spices, fruit and yeast. Flavour follows the aroma and is like a light, easy-drinking Belgian Ale with a light hoppy finish. Average bodied. Very good, I enjoyed it.

On tap at DDC. Dark yellow, small white head. Interesting aroma - yeasty, lots of malt, a bit sweet. Really nice taste - Lots of light malt, yeast, and surprising amount of hops. Very flavourful. Great stuff.

Draught (6 oz. sample) at Dieu du Ciel! Light golden with a small head. Aroma is fruity (orange & apricot) and yeasty - very Belgian. Flavour is full and sweet, with notes of honey and apricot, and a light, herbal finish. Quite nice.

10 of 13, tasters @ the source. Pours orange with a yellow cloudy bright white thin head. The nose is crisp, herbal and nice. Overall tasted like a nice sweet light sessioning Belgian.

Pint at brewpub. SE11/07.

App.: Slightly hazy golden, full white head. Aroma: Yeast/dough/bread, lemony, light spice, coriander, soft sweet malts and light funk. Palate: Medium body, very light effervescence and slightly syrupy. Flav.: Plenty of yeast, some warm spices, some honey and floral notes, lightly fruity and funky; a little sweet and a touch bitter.

A touch cloying, but not bad.

Thin white head. Light orange body. Spicy, fruity aroma. Sweetish-fruity-dry taste, quity dusty, spicy and grassy. Very balanced and harmonic. Dry, grassy aftertaste. Very nice session beer. (0.275l draft.)

On tap at the brewpub, visited June 23 2007 with a big group of friends (no fellow rateberrieans though). Slightly hazy golden yellow, compact head. Aroma of bready yeast with some citrus and floral notes, earthy/woody undertones. Flavours of bready yeast, citrus fruit, and sweet spice. Moderately heavy mouthfeel, sweet. Another great brew from this gem of a pub!

[tap @ the brewpub] Pours a hazy blonde color. Aroma is very fruity, and flavors seem to match. Pear as well as some mild grapefruit sweetness. Some subtle coriander as well. A very nice belgian style brew.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2006 Draught at brewpub. Almost clear blonde body, small white head, very good lacing. Very yeasty, citrus/lemon, rich body. Dry hops. Light astringency. Dry and salty finish with some traces coriander and some unknown spices. Candied fruits sugar. From the way I describe it, it may not sound all that great but it is actually very good. Very easy (too easy) to drink. One of the very few non-Unibroue quebec beer with a true Belgium Ale feel. A very lively brew named after a post-death medical condition.
