Draft... Hazy, deep yellow ale with a large, rocky, white head. Good retention; leaves terrific lacework. The doughy, fruity nose has notes of pear, apple, bannana and biscuit. Well-balanced flavor. Lightly fruity, yeasty and a touch spicy with some mild lemon. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter, citrusy and dry.

I don’t know if it’s the brass tanks, the brass finish on the bar, the tables or everwhere else, but it seems one out of every 3 Beers here are this color. I’m not complaining, I like copper amber ales, especially when it’s as clear as this one, just an observation...I also liked the massive cakey head.
A balance of bready, earthy notes, spicy yeast and a touch of alcohol. Seems simple enough but it’s hard to get that delicate balance right.
Chastened carbonation and again a great balancing act of malt, yeast, dry hops and basic alcohol make this a great session ale. Would probably be best in show at most other brewpubs, it registers as an average one here that’s still great to see every once in a while back up on the board.

Tap. Cloudy golden-orange in colour with a long lasting off-white head, some lace. The aroma was yeasty, slighlty sweet, some floral hops with some bready malts. The flavour had some must and yeast, citrus (oranges and lemons), some pepper heat. Dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes dry, yeasty, mid length.

8/9 on tap at DdC with Goldorak. body of the beer was a parle gold color with a very thin lacing and a medium haze. aroma was very sweet, citurs and orange going along with some bread. the citrus carried into the flavor very strongly, with some yeast and spices complimenting it. a very slight hop profile comes in very late. not as good as the abt, but good either way.

See-through rays of sunshine kiss fresh oranges while the basic white light atop it fades to a mere glow. Yeasty but lots of other goings on too (maybe too much actually) - some fruitiness and sweetness and spiciness and citrus freshness. Bready malts and spiciness through flavour and then a medium finish and mouthfeel. Solid.

Clear thin amber with a short white head disipating to nothing. Nose of invert sugars, grapefruit and pine. Lightly burnt with tinges of molases. Caramel and hearthy malts. Very even and pithy. A little chalky.
