COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blond like a ray of sunlight, crowned by a thick foam and sustained by a pronounced effervescence, this beer is the delight of all our customers! Its bouquet is the result of a large array of floral and fruity esters which is complemented by a light and delicate fragrance of malts and hops. The first draught reveals a fruity sweetness and a warm touch of alcohol. The hops are only delicately unveiled in the aftertaste.

Clear blonde topped by a generous white head. Nice typical belgian nose, breeady, noble hops and a touch of fruity esters, all in balance. Fresh attack, crisp with a round malty body, spicy and herbal hops in mid palate, finishes on a creamy note. Easy drinking and tasty. Very well made.

On tap at Jimmy's no 43 NYC. A little bland. Banana on the nose, some bubble gum in the taste. Very wheaty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Moderate malt notes of light bread and hay, light to moderate herbs and grass for the hops, faint soap and musty for the yeast, with apple, wood, clove and pepper in the background. Head is large, creamy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy pale yellow/amber. Flavor starts moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively carbonation and a lightly dry finish. A nice refreshing and yet complex beer, but for me it falls a little short as a Belgian Ale.

Description: Bière jaune avec une mousse blanche.
Note: 6/10

Tap at Dieu du Ciel with Andy, PJ and Niles. Pours medium gold in color and with a medium white head. Stubborn lacing at the very top of the glass, but no more as it went down. Pretty sudsy-looking with the abundant bubbles. Big wheaty nose. Very yeasty, wheaty, zesty, a tad earthy and bitter. Kind of grainy. Alcohol is well hidden.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is light fruity, mild spiced and yeasty estery. Mixed estery and phenolic, yeasty. Light cornish/malty note. Lingering fruity and mild bitter to a medium dry finish.

Tap at DDC.
Appearance : Clear yellow with a foamy and creamy white head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Fruity easters with nice herbal hops. Nice malt with notes of hay.
Taste : Nice yeast with great herbal hops. Nice herbal notes on the finish with light fruits. Notes of hay. Great malt profile. Faint alcohol, nice soft carbonation.
Overall : Wow awesome blond ale. Very nice yeast, very nice hops and very nice malt. Really drinkable and refreshing. Great appearance and great palate. Can’t find anything negative about this beer. I think this batch was a good one.

Tap sample at DDC. Light amber with white head. Slightly sweet, honey but not much going on. Starts mildly bitter, dry, disappointing finish. Not a great beer.
