12oz bottle consumed on 5/25/08 thanks to xnoxhatex for sharing this bottle. Pours orange red with a beige head. Interesting nose of rose petals, flowers, dried apricots, sweet and surprisingly herbal. Floral flavors. Roses, sweet fruit that dry out in the finish.

Aug 29, 2008 12oz bottle, courtesy of ryan. Thanks! Pours a bright, slightly red-raspberry color; very light pink head with fine-bubbled lacing. Loads of soft, generous floral notes in the aroma; white pepper, soft honey and ginger. Lively carbonation. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of sweet sugar, floral notes, white pepper, and spicing upfront; overly sweet altogether, and lacking some of the legitimate complexity and clarity expressed in the nose; white pepper and ginger at the periphery. Decent, but slightly muddled and sweet. Lengthy finish: toasty malts, floral notes, and honey; plenty of white pepper.

Aug 28, 2008 Clear amber/ruby body with a small beige head. The nose is loaded with hibiscus, sweet cotton candy and light citrus. The flavor is mostly just cotton candy, there’s light some light citrus and floral notes too. Overall, it’s sort of bland and lifeless overall. Medium body is round with moderate carbonation.

Aug 27, 2008 12 oz into pint glass. A slightly hazy copper pour with a bit of a pink hue with a big very light pink head. The aroma is very subtle but also very tempting - soft pale malt with a lot of flowery notes - not in a hoppy way, but rather almost like a perfume. The flavor is soft and refreshing and definitely unique - flowery, wheaty, sour, and a bit fruity. It is soft and light on the palate. Overall: a unique brew and a fresh approach to wheat beers. If you like wheats and sours this might be your beer. It isnt funky like a sour ale but actually sour in a way that reminded me a bit of DFH festina peche.

Aug 23, 2008 Strong refreshing aroma of spices. Initial taste is very sweet almost to the point of bitterness. Not fruity, but definitely plantlike with hibiscus flowers... Very bitter in large doses. The more I drink the lower I want to rank it.

Aug 23, 2008 (Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on August 22, 2008. Pours a dissipating white head atop a deep orange body. Nose of wild yeast, orange peel and lemonade tonic. Flavour of tart oranges, wet wheat and sour lemon zest. Very interesting, perhaps not to my palate because of the sour/tart play.
